for those 06 coupe owners out there, does your "Passenger side air bag off" light stay LIT if no one is sitting in your passenger seat?

even if no one is sitting there or someone is sitting there, it only comes on once when I turn the car on.

I know on my loaner 05 coupe, the light would stay LIT if no one was sitting there...did they change something on the 06 or is my sensor not working?

 

i THINK the light will NOT illuminate if no one is sitting there...please confirm...thank you

 

The passanger side air bag off light should go out with someone in the seat and (with the ignition on).

I got the 06 and the light does not stay on.....only when you turn the car on

The user's manual for the 06 (at least this is the case for mine) also mentions that the light will go out if it detects the seat is empty. The wording struck me as awkward when I read it, but if the behavior was different in previous models, the choice of wording makes a lot more sense.

the only time i notice it's on is when someone is getting out of the passenger seat. it'll come on for like 5 seconds and then go back off.

 

hmmz...mine says its off all the time when no ones sitting.
i should check mine since you guys are saying it should go off when no one's sitted.
