Car is slower with winter wheels

did anyone notice a big difference in power and acceleration after they put on their winter wheels. i just installed my 17" blizzak lm-22s and my car feels really slow now. i know winter tires are not meant to be driven fast on but my acceleration is really slow and my 0-60 feels sluggish. i thought these were high performance winter tires. is it because i still need to break them in?

Usually putting smaller tires on will make the car faster.....I dunno, my G feels as fast, if not faster with my 17" LM-22's on

it should feel faster with the smaller wheels and tires

Optional
Rubber weighs less than metal. You're on crack. It couldnt possibly be slower.

i really feel no difference from winter tire set up besides some noise it makes.

ohh and the smaller rims are easier on the bumpy roads

that, and you cant take the twisties as well as when summer tires are on. (I had my winter tires on for a week before it started to snow)

I felt the same way for a day or so after installing the 17" wheels and tires instead of the 18"s. However, that feeling has passed. Especially when I had a BMW (older 3 or 5 series couldn't tell) try to beat me off the line at a stop light before a merge.

Winter wheels being smaller in size... should make the car faster.... no way slower ....

Might be the weather affecting the ECU. It will readjust quickly and performance will be back to par.

YES there IS a difference.
It's intentional to keep you from gettin a lil too freaky with the throttle when you shouldn't.
