Fuel Filter
It's actually a non-serviceable item. (Supposedly doesn't need replacing). But it's in the fuel tank, if you were curious. I know some cars have an access hole on the bottom of the trunk, to access the fuel pump/filter assembly. Not sure if the G has that.
I wanted to know as my car is one of the first imported to Australia and is being complianced in Brisbane (2800mls away from me).
As part of the requirements it is required that the fuel filter (and cat) be changed out for new despite the car only covering about 3500 miles.
On the phone he mentioned he couldn't find it so I suggested it may be in the tank.Just wanted to know for sure.
Yes any fuel filter is not the sort of part you would reservice.

I think its one of those things you have to drop the whole tank to replace, so if there's any way you can get someone to just say its replaced I would try pulling for some favors...
