What tires did your car come with?

I jsut picked up my Coupe last night (2006 6MT 19") and it had Bridgestone Potenza's. I thought it would come with Pilot Sports? What tires do these cars come with normally?

pilot sports comes in 18's... pilot sport 2's come in 19's. They're more expensive than the potenzas. makes sense why they'd use the potenzas as stock 19's tires.

Question

My 2003 with 18's came with Pilot Sport.

This question is something that I've been thinking about a lot. Not necessarly the question of which tires came with our cars, but on the same line, as in when these Pilot's need replacing, what should I replace them with?

Is there anything out there that will give better performance than the Pilot?

Reason I ask, is I had Eagle RSA's that came on my Dodge Avenger ES, and when they got old and needed replacing, I went to a different brand and NEVER have had the same performance out of any that I got after the RSA's that I did with the Original Manufacture's "Suggested" tires (RSA's).

So, in a long winded story short, Should we keep with Pilot Sport's, since that's obviously what Nissian thought was the best "fit" for our cars...? or atleast the 18"s wheels...?

WhiteonWheat,
The tires it comes with are what Nissan was best for the price. I think Pilot Spoty 2's on teh stock 19s would have performed better but I think they jsut saved some money by going with the Potenzas.

Thanks for the tips, Evangelo2.

I guess, I'll revisit this in a few thousand miles or so...lol.

I've got time, but was curious since someone else brought up a question about our tires...

Thanks Guys!
