Hi...I am new to this forum. I'll try not to make this too long but i ahve a feeling it will. This is my first post and i wanted to share some thoughts and pics about my new 2006 IP g35 coupe. Due to my work, i have to travel a great deal, but most of the time I reside in New York City, Taipei, Taiwan, and Shanghai, China. I am an avid car lover and so is my father, that's how i got into cars and tuning cars awhile back. I was always a german car kinda guy, but i have always dreamed about owning a r34 skyline gt-r v-spec II. I guess the g35 coupe will be as close as it gets, until the r35 comes out. So i decided to get a g35 and tune it to my liking.

Anyway, i got my 2006 IP about a month ago. Options were all included as
G35's in Taiwan are sold fully optioned. I did get navigation including 12 disc dvd player, and rearview camera. It will also recieve tv chanels and you can play dvd's while driving, but i have never use it.

As soon as i got my car, i went to HKS Taiwan. (www.hks.com.tw) It is located in Taipei. I got HKS hipermax LS+ coilovers, HKS RS suction intake, HKS headers (imported from HKS Japan), HKS catalytic converters (Imported from HKS Japan), HKS nissan 350z titanium cat-back (we had to custom fit this exhaust cuz its for a 350z, i don't like the cannister mufflers like hks hi-power exhaust, i prefer a big single middle muffler with tips coming out the sides, IMHO it looks cleaner), HKS f-con sz, and stillen sway bars front n rear from the states.

I just got my Work VS-xx wheels in magnesium and polished lip. 19x9 fr, 2 inch lip and 19x10 rr with 3.25 inch lip. I also installed a custom BBK using Porsche 6-piston calipers (high gloss black) with 355mm 2-pce rotors. I'm waiting for the rear porsche 4-piston calipers to come in, gonna match that with 332mm 2-pce rotors.

I wanted the 6mt, but Taiwan doesn't import it, i have no clue why!!! The ownder of HKS Taiwan also has a 2006 IP and we have become good friends. HAHA....his car is pretty sick too...He let me know the HKS stage 2 rotrex supercharger will be here soon!!! Don't know the exact details, but he said around 380-395 rwhp. That's pretty good, considering HKS rotrex superchargers run low boost. So, i am desparately waiting for it. I am thinking about doing cams next.

The other IP is the owner of HKS Taiwan. He is waiting for the stage 2 rotrex SC, top secret bumper, INGS+1 sides, fenders, and rear.

What do you guys think about IMPUL front bumper with INGs+1 sides and Nismo black rear diffuser?

How much fabrication does it take to put on porsche brakes? Wouldn't it be awesome if someone would put on some carbon-ceramic brakes like on the Carrera GT or F430? Hell. Even the CLS55 AMG have carbon-ceramic brakes as an option.
