Has anyone run the 1/4 with the MREV (looking for timeslip)
I personally do not plan on running any 1/4's, because I do not believe I am as capable to do the MREV justice, as others are. I did see a MREV 1/4 time slip here a few weeks back. I think it was in the 13.8 neighborhood. I would imagine that as the weather gets better for everyone and more MREV's get installed . . . We'll all see many 1/4 time slips popping up.
Oh, btw . . . If I remember correctly. The person with the MREV, whom ran a few 1/4's had a problem hooking up the rear wheels and was waiting to attempt further runs. Perhaps, someone can track down that particular thread/post.

if it is knocking off .2-.4 of 1/4 mi times. How will this affect the person that takes car back to dealership for service(like me). I would like to do this mod as well. Except that I don't have the time or patience to deal with dealership hassles if they decide they will no longer continue to work on my car.
Good point . . . Unless a mod is causing a specific problem, I do not see where a dealer might have a problem. However, for myself, if I think a certain mod maybe under suspiction for a certain prroblem . . . I will removed that particular mod prior to bringing my G into the dealer for warranty work.

No way... The MREV knocks off .4 secs on the 1/4??? So you guys are telling me that I can get into the 13's with just a MREV and Intake? I am skeptical?

Now, I've got the mrev; now I just need to get it installed and taken to the track.

I have a ztube, 350z midpipe, k&n filter, and crawford cats on my 05 sedan. I was also running with 1/4 tank of gas, and had taken everything out of the trunk(spare, etc). So, I was "close" to stock. Ask DaveB, the ztube, filter, and cats are more sound mods than anything else
(just had to poke at you dave). But again, I cannot stress enough the conditions. While I'm proud of my time, I know a local 350z that with only a jwt popcharger hit a 13.7 in the middle of summer at the same track. And there's another local 350z, *5AT*, that's hitting 13.3@103 in similarly cold conditions to my runs, with street tires no less.
impressive none the less. I got to drive Devon's car with MREV installed and it definetly felt different, noticeably more torque. launching the car seems to be trickier now

LOL that's funny, that's what everyone says. Even if people provide proof there is always doubt. My first run was a 14.07 @102.?? and my second run was 13.92 @ 102.?? I don't remeber all the specifics, but I will run again this spring when it warms up a lil. I only ran twice that night, I was trying to see if I could get 13's and I did,so I left after try # 2. If anyone in my area would like to test drive the MREV please let me know. It is easier to make believers that way instead of over the web.
