Plenum:
1. Motordyne's Mrev & 1/2" spacer w/ISO Thermal.
2. Crawford's Upper Plenum dynoed same as 1/2" spacer WITHOUT iso thermal

Exhaust:
1. Cheap way, Fuji Y-Pipe
2. HKS, BORLA, FUJI, all good brands

IMO: Stillen Air Box, 1/2" Spacer or mRev, Fuji Y-Pipe, Advance Timing, E-Manage Blue. iono how that combo will work out, maybe someone can comment

If you have a 05-06 6MT, you deff want the Motordyne Engineering ISO Thermal MREV. If you live in a climate where the temp reaches below 55 degrees F, then you want the Copper ISO Thermal MREV. You will feel the gains instantly. Then Couple this with a ztube and K&N filter, and you will have the most amazing sound you could ever dream of. Then maybe work your way up to High Flow cats and Headers, and then an exhaust. Good luck with the modding

Absolutely . . . Starting with either a Motordyne plenum spacer or the MREV is an excellent beginning, as Eric and Mike have mentioned. I perceive the said as "Value" mods. You are afforded quite a of value for the dollar. In the search for added driveability, if I were to limit my mods and install nothing else . . . I would install the above referred to mods.

Well, then you might as well beef up the suspension, as well.

It's not worth it, I've spent 2k for twenty something more horsepower to the wheels...

But, I guess it is worth it lol! Depends on how much $$$ ya got, and if your not looking into F/I and your willing to drop G's...then you need to.

One thing i've learned

MODDING IS A HASSLE...lol

Searching will probably do you the best...chances are in the last 3 years someone has wondered which mods. are good for the car.

unless you want to install that turbonator of course...
