It's disguised pretty well and is designed to let the engine cover fit over it. It's pretty easy to miss but a tech could notice without much effort. This should not affect anything to do with your service, however. They will not refuse to work on the car because of the mod.

You'll be looking at either the Iso Thermal MREV or the Copper Iso Thermal MREV. An upgrade is available , as well . . . That would be the MREV Plus, which can be upgraded to the 2 previously said.
i'm still waiting to install mine... the more i think about it, the more i'm scared to install it myself...

I dont think there is MUCH difference performance wise, but Tony says the copper is pretty much a necesity if you live where the temps reach below 55 degrees.
To all those worried about installing yourself, it is extremely easy! This was the first time I've worked on a motor and I did it with no problem. Just make sure you use an lb-inch torque wrench. Bot for anyone who really wants it profesionaly installed, the install took me about 3 hours. This is coming from a novice, so it may take a shop a little bit less time.
Chizled - GOOD choice with the z-tube/K&N filter along with the MREV. IT sounds unbeleivable. I took a sound clip of me revving in the garage, which is in itself amazing. But when you get up above 4.5k the sound is AMAZING. I will take a sound clip as soon as I can at WOT so you can all hear it. Here is the link to the audio clip of me revving it in the garage with the MREV/K&N/Z-tube: http://www.f-trans.net/pub/ludafifty...r%20audio.aiff
