Re-flashing the ECU

If you reflash the ECU, then at a later point disconnect the battery to clear its memory, when the battery is re-connected will it retain the settings that were flashed to it, or will it default to the factor fefaults?

Flash memory persists without power, the settings should stay.

According to Technosqaure who do the reflash, disconnecting the battery will not cause ECU memory loss.

Common people, you should know it won't loose it's settings. Do flash cards loose your pictures when you take them out of your digital cameras? That's how flash memory works.
