from the pics, it doesn't look cracked. just tell your friend her gums are in for a beating!

 

if you pay over 600 dollars just for a new rear bumper....your getting ripped off..i purchased one for 300...you just have to make sure that your quarter panels did not wringle....if they did then your looking around 700 (not including bumper) to straighten and paint everything....good luck

she has already said she will pay for it, i just hope it doesnt ruin our relationship. anyway i dont think the bumper will have to be replaced as there are not any dents or anything, but im going to take to the body shop in about 2 hours to have them take a look

 

You should take it to a bumper repair place, such as bumper medic. They will take the bumper off at youre request and inspect the damage. If nothing structural, they can repaint and install it back on the car within the same day. Usually costs under $400.

i just got back from a body shop place, and he says the damage is hardly bad at all. he says he can buff it out for like $40

SORRY to see that... damage kinda looks like mine from someone backing up into mine right when i get out of my car from parking it... but the guy it mine on the driver side... lucky for me my neighbor owns a body shop
