what exactly are test pipes? Where can you get them, performance .. and so on..

they replace your catalytic converters with straight through piping.
they are the cheapest mod you can make @ 350shipped for 15hp the tradeoff is your cars a little louder, smells a little bit, and can be classified as a gross polluter if you smog it with them on.

your car will no longer be street legal with test pipes but the gains in HP are very good.

 

I bought mine from a guy selling them on My350Z web site. He was not charging anywhere near that much. They were full stainless steel. Our cars run so clean that there was no smell to the exhaust and my state does not do vehicle inspections.

yeah i didnt want what some dude made in his garage, im getting the ones from Mines.

you must have a week sense of smell if you dont smell it cause whenever im stopped at a light i get a good whiff and wheover is behind me smells it.

If he made them in his garage, he has a great setup because they were quality construction with laser cut flanges! He also offered polished stainless steel that shined like chrome.
