SHIFT KNOB HELP!!!
Re: SHIFT **** HELP!!!
The shift **** is not plastic. It is metal (not sure what kind) and leather. If you really don't like it, it can be removed by unscrewing to the left. They have some kind of thread locker on it, so it's real tough to turn the first couple of turns. You can use Vise Grips or Channel Locks with a towel wrapped around the base of the **** if your not Man Mountain Dean. BTW, if you don't like your old one, would you want to sell it?

Mine's got a chip in it already, so if it's clean I'll give ya $2.00
Even dollar increments are in order, I'd think... LOL

Re: SHIFT **** HELP!!!
Hahaha, this is a funny thread. Anyways, I was thinking of changing the shift ****. But the leather/metal matches the black leather interior and aluminum dash of the car so well, and the shift **** is so comfortable, I'm not even gonna bother.
Re: SHIFT **** HELP!!!
No they are not. He's right. I've seen stock ones for around $90.00. Nismos are another matter they range in price from around $50.00 to $120, depending on material and shape. I would like to replace mine because I did bung it up when I removed it. I have however covered the marks up with high temperature electrical tape. But, if I can find someone who wants to get rid of a stock one. I'm all ears.
