A RWD coupe with good snow tires will be fine in the snow. I suspsect the reason a lot of people think RWD is poor in the snow is all-season tires. Here in Canuckistan pretty much all the RWD cars you see on the road from Nov-March have snow tires. I drive my car 1000km a week with no issues in snow/ice/sleet/minefields.

I duno.. my G's covered in the driveway, but my Tacoma is doing fine. I just got back from wheeling in this huge field near my house and it was a blast.
A bunch of guys in a local car club are meeting up tonight to do some drift competitions in a huge parking lot a few miles down the road. At least there is some small redeeming fun-factor in our horrible New England winters.

put a set of blizzak LM22 tires and the G35 is fine in snow. it's just the low clearance that makes it hard to get in and out of parking spots. gotta make sure intersections are plowed enough so you don't hit the front bumper. i was driving home from work this morning with not many people out. it took a while to get the car clean of snow. i only got passed by an evo and a merc ML320 ml355? my pride was too much to let an audi A8 quattro pass me so i blew him away lol. the car had more traction than i expected as long as balance wasn't upset. now when it all freezes over, that's gonna suck.
