Only if they can contribute the damage/defect to the part you installed, but it would be more like a he said/she said battle. Some dealers are more accepting to minor mods than others. They really shouldn't even notice it if your put your upper engine cover back on. Was that just a question or do you really need to take it in for a problem?

Save all the parts you took off to return it to stock, if you have a prob.

No, I don't have any problems with my coupe but if something went wrong I don't want to deal with the BS they dealerships give you.. I have a 65,000 mile warranty and I have 43,000 miles currently on my car so I will just wait before I mess with it...

Nope, but it depends on the issue and dealer. There is really no issue that can come from a spacer, since it just increases air flow. Only issue I could think of is if the issue related directly to the plenum, such as vacuum leaks etc. Some dealerships are more **** than others but it shouldnt cause a big problem.

Mod friendly WA dealers
Are the dealers in the Seattle area mod friendly? I plan on getting my G next month and after reading all the stuff on this site I can't wait to start doing my own mods.

They probably could blame it on the TPS (Throttle position sensor) if it goes out.... Code P2135.
