So I had my car brought to the dealership to have my spoiler repainted because a part of the paint started to spider-web. Anyway, i kept my car there for the day and they gave me a loaner to drive around till the next day. I come back to pick up my car and I take a look at the spoiler. It looks great accept when i come around to look at the back of my car i see that my I-N-F-I-N-I-T-I letters are back on along with the G35 in the upper right corner!! I was like.....wtf!??!?!? Well at least it's not too hard of a job to take off again, but thought I would just share..........

 

HaH... you should tell them they owe you 2 hours (or however long it took you to debadge) worth of pay since they put it back on

Did you ever stop to think that instead of repainting your spoiler they just swapped the entire deck lid with one on the lot????

I would take a stroll through their lot and see if you find a debadged G35!

 

I think that's EXACTLY what they did... dealerships seem to go out their way to take shortcuts, and have noone but themselves to blame for the POOR reputations they develop.

Yeah you got what you wanted.. but at the expense of another buyer...

 

You would be able to smell it if it was repainted.

Go look for a debadged trunk.

Who knows what your dealership did. They usually aren't that nice to rebadge things for you.
