Rear Camber/Toe Kit installation on Coupe?

Do I need to remove the shock/struts to install the Camber/Toe kit? Is it easy enough to add in the end? I'm wondering if should install my Dspec/Z Htech and just add the Camber/toe kit if needed.

camber and toe kit can be installed without having to have to
touch the shocks.

but you should install it and have it aligned the same day.

I installed Eibach Prokits and Tokico D-Specs both for G35 Coupe applications. I have 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 Volks. My car dropped about 1" initially then settle a bit lower. I'd say more like 1.5" front and 1.25" rear. I like it.

I was -1.7 & -1.9 in the front and -1.7 & -1.9 rear. I then installed my 350EVO arms and Stillen Rear Camber Arms... now I am at -0.6 & -0.8 front and -1.6 & -1.6 rear. Very close to the specs I wanted to achieve. I wanted -.75 fronts and -1.5 rears. My toe I wanted 0.025 for the fronts and I am at 0.02 & 0.03. For the rear toe I wanted 0.05 on both sides and that's what I achieved.

I didn't want to get the tow bolts because I don't like the idea of elongating holes on my cars suspension. I was going to get Stillen Toe arms if needed but I don't. That would've meant changing my whole suspension to a coilover setup because the Toe arms eliminates the rear spring cup.

I have the same setup with eibach springs and i was wondering how does your shock feels. Cause im still debating wat to get? How much did u get ur tokido d specs. Last question, is it true that u have to drill a wider hole for the toe bolt. Cause i have the spc camber and toe bolt in ma garage needed to be installed. I have a 03 coupe and im havin inner tire wear.

Shock is a little stiffer than stock and I'm comparing this to a Sport Suspension. Some say it will get softer as time goes by but I have it 5F/5R on my setting.

I got mine for 650 shocks/Spring (Z version) with Rear Extension from CreativeAutoworks.

I haven't aligned my wheels yet so I'm not sure if I'm going to need one.

Now, how much did you pay for your Camber/toe kit? I think i might need it coz when i'm looking at my wheels it seems it's a little in an angle.

Hey guys,

I am having the same issue... Eibach Springs & Koni Shocks... Car looks awesome but I notice my rear tires are wearing our the insides more than the outside.

Standing at the back of the car I can notice a real angle towards the top. Obviously, I need a camber kit even though it looks sweet...

Does anyone know which is the best one? Is this something I can install my self or should I take it to a shop?

What about the fronts? Is there anything I can do promote even or longer tire wear... (this is not a loaded question)...

Lastly, How do I avoid feathering or getting that nasty Whooom whooom whooom when driving? I really want the car to track perfect.

Chris

I've had the camber/toe bolts in my garage for almost a year, but never had a chance to install them. Also, I was debating on whether or not I should get the camber kit instead. I just replaced my tires and noticed that my rear tires were worn on the outside instead of the inside. I thought if I lowered the car, the inside would be worn out, so why would the outside be worn out (positive camber?)?

Tread on the front tire was all messed up and noticed why I was getting that "whoom whoom whoom" when driving too. Is there such a thing as a toe arm for the fronts to prevent this or can it be fixed with just an alignment? One shop said they couldn't align it because the car was lowered.
