'06 coupe AT going 80mph RPM
Hmmm, if indeed the 05 and previous 5ATs were doing only 2800-2900 at 80mph then the only way the 06 are doing higher rpms is with a numerically higher final drive. I know when infiniti first released the specs on the 06 the AT was listed with the MT final drive, a week later it was changed back to the 05 AT spec though. Would be interesting to see what the final drive on the 06 5AT is.

That is wat I was saying all along. If that is true, then 06 AT have an advantage over the previous yrs and should also have a better quarter mile by about .1-.2 sec.
