gtorres44, Yes there have been a couple of complaints like yours. Only thing I can suggest is to make sure the window is all the way up b4 closing the door. If it's down even slightly, the window won't go up that final quarter inch.
Other than that, it means that the regulator mechanism is malfunctioning and needs service. G/L

Re: Trouble with the automatic window seal

I had this happen once about a two months ago. I rolled the window down and up with the switch and opened the door. It went down automatically and then worked OK. No problem with it since.

Good question. Do we have a 1,000 service? I'm closing on 850 miles.

Re: Trouble with the automatic window seal

I have a lot of experience lately with these damn windows.......long story...surrfice to say that my alarm options and add-ons caused some Headaches....get a screwdriver and unscrew the door closure sensors from both the passenger and driver's side doors....take the clip apart and the reconnect firmly...screw them back in and see if that does the trick. Good luck.

Re: Trouble with the automatic window seal

If you have the window lock button depressed the windows will not finish closing after you close the door.
