Hey my name's Chris and this is my first thread here. Been viewing this site since I got my G 4 months ago. Black/Black 06MT premium and sport package minus navi. Only mods I've done, very little: 05' rear splash guards and Nismo CAI. Well anyway its winter here in NY and Spring is around the corner. I'm planning on some new mods before the summer. Here goes..let me remind you I want sound(exotic) and looks(turn heads), and some performance...its fast enough for me, and I don't want to spend a small fortune.
1). keeping stock 19's...Tein S-tech
2.) Invidia G200 titanium tip...seems best bang for the buck..they say its exotic...plus i dont like the HKS look.
3.) GTR 06' Batmobile overlays with the round lightholes cut out
4.) Nismo Replica front bumper...pref. urethane...im tired of waiting for a OEM lip to come out for the 06' makes me crazy. Infiniti said they may never manufacture one. Do you think the car on S-techs will be too low to put the Nismo bumper on????

OEM lip?? It's integrated in to the '06 sport bumper.

 

Yeah it doesnt really look like it...maybe ur right though...i just love that extra lip look...im getting the hots now for the impul sides replica....u guys give me the mod bug..i better get used to it..

 

I think the OEM '06 integrated lip looks WAY better than the tacked-on lip of the '03-'05 cars. Maybe it will grow on you.

 

Maybe the 06' bumper will look better......lower.

 

nice upgrade to the G..........mod list sounds great

 

if you want to turn heads you should go for a more agressive looking kit. the nismo front is very subtle and people who dont know will just think its stock. you should look into the kenstyle kit or the top secret front.

and you dont like the hks exhaust look? wow thats a first.

 

Its hard cause everyone has their preferences...Like I said...I keep going back in forth...some of ya think...the overlay look takes away from class...now im hearing the nismo front looks too stock...o and about the hks u no its just out of my price range.didnt mean to bash the look...according to other threads u can get that exotic sound true dual cheaper in the invidia...
still dead set on lowering the car..
and the invidia...
i hear what ur saying get a top secret bumper or kenstyle...do u feel that ur now sacrificing class?? and going more towards a ricier look, to turn heads?

look im even willing to consider getting rid of the 06' side skirts and getting new ones...

Yeah, turn heads thinking "hey look at that thing, man why did he do that to his nice car?" Just kidding. You just need to be tasteful in the mods, if you care what other people think about how it looks.
