Soft hood?

Hey there. Is it just me or does anyone else notice on their G35 Coupe that when applying or buffing wax by hand, or drying even, the top of the hood (near the windshield) seems to wobble in and out as you work in that section?

I'm not applying hard pressure by any means; I do the same on the bottom portion of the hood and everything is cool. In fact, I even tried it on my other car, and pushed down hard on purpose, and it didn't do it.

Anyone notice this?

I think you guys just have to have your wives or girlfriends do the job. You obviously are too strong for your Gs.

Thanks guys for the input... You know, I really don't push that hard at all. But if that's the way it is, well then, that's alright. I just don't want to notice one day that my hood is dented or anything similar.

But thanks again for replying.
