Changing your OEM HID 4100K bulbs to 6000K HID bulbs will decrease the lumens and put out less light on the road.

 

Is it possible to put the 350Z, Nissan, Murano and FX projector lights in our car by just chaning to their light? What type of lights do the 04 Maxima use?

 

Well guys, to tell ya the truth those projectors in the 350z doesn't make a damn difference from our lights. After reading all of this, I went out tonite to go for a cruise. Pulled next to a 350z roadster, looked over and saw a 60 year old lady! Cool stuff, but anyway, i jumped in front of her a ways up and when looking back at the lights they were just like ours, scattered blue light (reflection), it was only when i was about 20' from the front of her car that I saw the projecter, reflected off of all sides of the housing. I think the only way for a projector to look like the audi or BMW, it has to be a projector only, no reflective housing.

 

Where are you guys getting the idea that the 350Z has projector headlights?

If I remember correctly, the Z has reflector-type HID headlights.

These people seem to make good headlight conversions. They installing HID projectors in your existing headlight housing and it looks like it came from the factory.</p>
