anyone know if factory lip spoilers are out for 06's...also, front splashies. also, anyone know if there is a differance between the 06 liquid plantinum and the 05 silver...maybe compare paint codes.

You can't add a lip spoiler to the '06 front bumper.

 

Ahh, yeah, thats why when I posted the link, I wasn't too sure, the website didnt give any model year info. Just curious, the pic sure does look like the front of my '06...Whats the difference?

 

True only for the 6 MT's and autos with the 19" wheels and sport tuned suspension. The rest that originally come w/ 18's or 17's have the old fronts I believe. The new front facia is only for the performance package w/ sports tuned suspension and 19" wheels (standard on the 6MT). It includes the sport side sills that so many people seem to like.

 

The 06 has a lip built into it. I have a 06 6mt DG and noticed it at the anaheim meet a few weeks ago.

 

dang...anyone know if they are planning on making one--maybe when the front splashguards come out???. i have the perf pack 6mt and feel that i needs to look lower.

 

if i cant get a lower lip spoiler, what is everyones opinion on the best combo for lowering the car an inch or so...i mean, i want a factory ride and don't want to buy tires every year.

 

I haven't really checked into it yet, but I got the '06 Stillen catalog last week. It would seem they have a lip and rockers for the '06 coupe.

 

go to infinitinews.com, over on the right hand side is a gallery box...they have pictures of all year models and makes. you can check the difference there. imo, the 06 front cover has hints of modena 360. i think i still prefer earlier model front end with a factory lip spoiler. i was originally in the market for an 05 or used 04, and at first was very disappointed in the changes. now, after having the car for a few months, i am very happy with the updated look. however, i would still like a lip spoiler and some front splashies.

 

I like the 06 front end much better than previouse years. Not much of a difference, but if you look at it from a certain angle (side) it has a resemblence of a F1 nose. I like it! I guess its my love for F1 that has me seeing things.
