Smoked Side Markers
Smoked Side Markers
My question is will someone ever produce these? i know i could probably do it myself, but im too lazy to. If anyone wants to produce these, im sure they can find quite a few buyers. Anyone up for it?

I can't express how EASY it is to smoke them yourself. However, if you are that intimidated by doing it yourself.. Most import shops offer the spray and if you buy it from them, they will do it for you. They will do a really clean job. Remember that you need the JDM (clear) sidemarkers to be smoked.

Dude I've been looking for those and asking people in forums and nothing yet. If you find out otherwise reply back!!!!
WickedG35 excuse my ignorance but how the hell do you smoke the clear markers. Spray paint them? Do you have to use any specific paint? How much should (paint) you use??
Thanx dude

Re: Smoked Side Markers
You could take your pop off lights(clear corners) and have them painted with a tinted gloss which they do on the grill stock.I wont have my grill on for a week because of how long the process is to strip the thick gloss off and put a darker tint on.On thursday it should be done and I will do the markers then since I still have the orange lights for my spares.I could post pics then. I'd like to find headlight housing with black instead of chrome

Re: Smoked Side Markers
You can smoke your stock side markers with a spray called Night Shade. I think that's what it's called. I did it to my old car. It's just tint that comes in a aerosol can. You put the first coat on which won't do much, then let it dry a few minutes and keep putting more coats on until it gets darker and darker. If you keep doing it it will become black. But you can still see your lights through the tint. It's not like spray paint. I bought it at Napa.
