5th gear grind

It happens sometimes when I'm shifting fast on cold days. I thought about taking it to the dealer but I know for sure that I won't be able to duplicate it... I think I'm gonna mention it anyway when I'm taking my car in for rattle in dash and oil change. Would the dealer be able to find the problem at all? I heard a lot of people having 5th gear grind so I'm guessing this is a common problem? Thanks in advance.

I get difficulty getting into 5th sometimes...i cant tell if its a grind though. Ive heard it may be the syncrhos, which is why it does it sometimes and will not do it other times

I haven't taken mine in yet. The dealership is probably going to give me crap for changing all the diff and gear fluids myself. I used all synthetics that were all within specs, but you know how stealerships are...

yea, mine def goes in too, i've had mine replaced twice, and it's doing it again. IT grinds as i shift into 5th and 6th gear. I need to have them fix it again, Should i have it fixed then install my act clutch? or will they blame the clutch? Thanks

My car is at the dealer today for the 30k service and to see about the difficulty I have getting it into 5th gear. Hopefully they can duplicate the problem when they test drive. It's a random thing.
