another grounding wire thread
I know, not another one but hey , it works wonder. My first mod on my car and I was planning to get Gordgee kit but it was too much trouble to locate a special kind money order and sending it out making it longer to get when I just paypal Z-xtreme and got it 3 days later.
Anyways, all im looking for is to get a better idle since my new 06' was not as smooth as i expected. At start up the after the the engine had warm up, the idle drop to 500rpm(at park) and it was REALLY smooth. When shift to D, it went up to about 600 rpm and I couldnt feel any little vibration on the steering wheel which I usually get.
Another few things I notice improvement was the HID warmed up quicker, usually you can see it warming up( about 2-3 sec), now it only takes 1 sec.
My stock BLOSE system used to sound like **** anything after 20 on the volume. Now at 24 it sounded clear !
Exhaust sounded smoother . As far as hp goes I have no idea and I could careless if it made 3 or 30 hp as I dont expect it from just some wires.

Yes. some will go the distance to try and prove you wrong that it DOES NOT do anything for them. Well good for them that they like to believe it. To my personal experience. After the install the Idle is BY FAR smoother and you do not see the car trying to keep it smooth by flickering RPMs. It just stays and that's that. See for yourself and hope it works for you as well. (I have the nismo one)

I've had an uneven idle since I threw in the K&N drop in air filter. I told my dealer and added that the RPM sometimes drop below the usual idle point. They performed an "idle relearn", and the car finally runs and idles like it should. I figured I'll throw it in since you guys talk about the idle. You welcome, no charge.

I didn't think it should make any HPs, it prevents HP lost from eletronic interference, and will be much more appearant if you have an extensive audio system or stand-alone management system. You will need all the proper grounding you can get to ensure the stability of the over all voltage going through out the car. It was obivous to me when my idle was significantly better after I've installed it. And after removing it, the fluctuating idle returns. If I can duplicate it enough times, it just might become closer to a fact that it does have an effect to the car.
