'05 6MT tranny shudder at 2800 RPMs?
UPDATE: Anyone else having this issue lately? My vehicle is still doing it AND, when I'm doing about 80mph then let up off the gas...as thet RPMs decline into the 2800/3000 range the whole car starts to shudder. It used to be that the shudder was just communicated through the stick. It is definitely more prominent now than in March when I posted this thread.
Now I'm getting worried. Trip to the dealership for scheduled svc next week is up next. 14,000 miles on the coupe so far. Let me know if anyone else is experiencing this and what your outcome was. THANKS
Crew,
As the days wear on I'm becoming more concerned about this. Here's the situation...
2005 6MT with 6700 miles. Driving along in ANY gear at any speed. Accelerate and raise motor to above 3K RPMs. I then let off the accelerator while still in gear and let the engine resistance slow the car down.
As the RPMs descend, just as they pass below 3K RPMs, I can feel a relatively violent shudder through the stick. It is VERY distinctive from the usual tolerable vibration that is communicated through the stick.
Have you ever held a drill while you were cutting into metal and the bit begins to catch and the drill begins to shudder in your hand? Thats what it feels like, but very concentrated.
What do you guys think? Anyone have similar experiences? Suggestions? Solutions? I want to get this remedied soon. Its a good thing I have a leisurely 5 mile commute or else I'd really be more pissy about this.

I have the same on my 05 6MT. What I usually do when it starts to shudder I press on the gas pedal a bit, and it stops. I havent really thought anything of it, but maybe I should have it checked out anyway.
