Good news! My loan for Coupe has been pre-approved at Pentagon Federal Credit Union at 3.9% APR. So all I have to do now is wait for the car to come in later this month or beggining of Oct.

congrats. i was all about to finance with them but then the infiniti dealer gave me same rate.

when i contracted to buy, i filled out credit app. so i was already locked in.

How long will pfcu hold that rate for you? I just ordered (re-ordered really) and could be waiting up to four months for it to get in according to the dealer...

 

The guy told me it shouldn't change anytime soon. But 4 months ... I don't know. The economy is so screwed up, I don't see interest rates going up to high. Also re-election campaigning is picking up, so I doubt we'll see the feds raising rates.

 

Thanks GTorres! Not much drooling here since the brochure doesn't have any DGs. It's odd that's the most sold color, but you see more black, red, blue and bs in adds and brochures. BTW, don't get me started on the brochure. It's more of a modeling catalog than a car catalog, so many pages wasted on people. I like to see lots of pictures of the car with the small print specifying the color.

 

Well...I know mortgage rates are going up...about a full percent since thier all time low about 3-4 months ago! But I don't know if car loan rates are related to mortgage rates...
