HELP, engine light
HELP, engine light
Hey everyone,
Yesterday I got her serviced at the dealership, had a slight pull to the right (fixed) my brakes where acting bizzare (fixed) and there was a clicking noise from the back (fixed, changed sway bars)
Today, I went for an oil change at a local oil change place, and while there, I had them change my air filter, while doing this, the guy was putting it all back together, and he forgot to attach the little clip that attaches to the fat black hose that runs behind the air filter (sorry, I do not know much about parts etc) anyways, I jumped the gun a bit, and started her up and drove out of the place and all my lights went on, rev, the red light under that, service engine soon, abs and seat belt....oh oh! as soon as I saw that, they guy opened the hood, and saw the clip, stuck it back in and all was fine....EXCEPT the engine light. So he looked under the car, the oil filter was fine, the oil level was fine everything was fine. All I can figure is that the switch had not reset the service engine light. How do I reset this light or should I bring it back to infiniti and tell them what happened?
any idea's would be great, thanks for your help.
By the way, got my summer shoes on today for the first time ever. WOW what a difference.

I've seen to many changed air filters do this. If caution is not used when removing the filter dirt will get into the Air Flow Meter & cause the SES light. Sometimes it can be cleaned then re-set the light. Sometimes it shorts out the AFM.
