hart infiniti of hartford

I test drove a g coupe there a couple of months ago and the salesman had me beat the **** out of the test car. It was'nt even a demo car is had all the plastic on the seats. We went to a dead end and he had me cut the wheal and floor it. Then we went over a hunderd miles an hour on a back road and he had me slam on the brakes. it was a fun test drive but I told myself I would never buy a car from them. I curently have one on order from inskip of warwick RI. If they treat there own cars like this i would never bring my car to them.

UPDATE: If anyone is following what's going on in this situation...I just spoke with the manager of Harte Infiniti he was definitely much more helpful than the service guys. He said he will talk to the service consultant/service manager tomororw and will get back to me as soon as possible tomorrow. So I hope the situation gets resolved before I need to take it to small claims, but he seemed to want to help the situation. I will update this thread tomorrow with any decisions I hear.

Honestly, I would get an attorney involved, or at least file in small claims court. If they have nothing in writing with your signature saying it was damaged beforehand, they are most likely going to lose, as well as not wanting to waste their time having to go to court.

since i work at a dealership i will give you my feedback. we do have a lot of cars that come in with rims, body kits, etc and yes we do check for all damages. the dealership should've warned you of any aftermarket products might incur problems with ground clearance and getting it on the lift and so forth. if they did damage the bumper then at least admit to it but they should've had a disclaimer. if it were the stock bumper and that happened that is a different story. i go through this myself b/c my car only has 3 1/4 inches of ground clearance.

best of luck to you.
