Help with measurement needed

Sup gang,

I need some help here. I'm about to re-mount the SKYLINE emblem and need to know the height of the stock "INFINITI" emblem from the edge of the trunk.
I prefer the measurement to be in millimeters as it's more accurate than using inches.

If anyone can run down to his/her car and give me the measurement I would really appreciate it. I would have done it myself, but my car is completely debadged.

Thanks.

I think you mean 50mm. 50cm is almost 20 inches.

Edit: Speed, you beat me to it.
I thought it was up to us metric Canadians to catch these things.

LOL,

I wasn't born here, so I'm a metric native myself...

Thanks,

Did you get these numbers at the corners of the emblem, or the center?

The reason I'm asking is because the trunk edge is a little curvy so the distance at the middle of the emblem is not the same as in the corners.

Thanks again!

Even 50mm sounds excessive (5cm). Did you measure that on the M? Different models have the emblems at different heights. Even the G sedan's emblem is located higher than the coupe's.

Since the main point of the thread has been answered, I wanted to see if I could get some additional measurements (This way I am not hijacking the thread but taking a 'Continuing Flight' ).

I am having my all of my decklid emblems re-installed: the Infiniti Lettering, the Mt Fugi, and the G35. Can anyone measure the distance the top of the Mt Fugi emblem should be from the top of the decklid? Also, is it exactly centered from left to right as well? Likewise, could someone get the measurement that the "Infiniti Lettering" is from each side of the tail-lights ( measurement from the left-side "I" to the deck lid edge by the left tail-light and measurement from the right-side "I" to the deck lid edge by the right tail-light). Also, measure the location of the G35 emblem. My body shop totally screwed up and I want to get them correct measurements so they can apply them emblems correctly.

The Mt. Fuji is in the center <--A--> (horizontally speaking). To center it, simply measure the length of the trunk, divide by two, measure half the distance from one of the sides, and place the Mt. Fuji pointer (center of emblem) on that spot. The only other thing you will need is the height. I would have helped by like I said, by baby's butt is shaved...
