I did a search on "glovebox switch" and could not find anything. I was playing around in the car (05 6mt) and noticed an on/off type of switch on the left side of the glovebox when its open on the fuzzy material. What the hell is this for? All I can find is threads about where to hide guns.

 

i think its where the nav unit is kept... not sure though because i don't have nav

 

I believe its a button to lock the trunk??

 

That switch is there to puzzle you...Just kidding. It's the valet lockout for your trunk.
