i personally like the gialla better.. goes with the car alot better. just my opinion

Do you have an pic of the stereo? That was one drawback when I bought this car. Strange din and the stereo is hooked up with the a/c. How'd ya get around that?

 

9 thousand dollars on an car audio system ? Oh my god, I'm gonna have a heart attack. Question is, have you insured the car for this "additional" value? I wonder how many youngsters spend all these bucks on their rides and neglect to get it all insured...

 

Here is a link to the imagestation of the audio install. I made some readjustment to the install last weekend. Gonna have more picts this weekend. The current picture show a wall between the trunk and inside the car. Now the wall is down. The 4 channel amp sit where the spare tire is at. The sub amp is sitting the opposite side of the sub(rear left). I had fiber glass box enclosure made on the rear right just to fit the sub amp. Now the bass hit tighter and sound much better. Before the wall block the bass from coming in.

Good point. I need to contact my insurance company to find out more about it. Do they even cover such thing? I didn't know that is why i didn't bother.

not to question you but where is the 9K, i see maybe 3-4 MAYBE, unless there is some things I am missing, I myself have a 7995, your w6v2, phoenix amps, ( i used to use phoenix- 2 MPS-2500s and a MS-2125) so I know phoenix can be pricey, alpine monitor, I dont know what you replaced your speakers with, some custom fiberglass work I see, but where is the rest? it all looks good by the way, my double din is on its way at this very moment.

I have alpine dva-7996, tme-760, cd changer, phoenix gold ti 500.4, 800.1, alpine pxa-h700, alpine center speaker, focal utopia 6.5 and 5.25 component, jlw6v2 and lotsa custom work. also have 7995 but not using it more. lotsa dynomat.

The focal utopia is pricey too. But came out around 6k for parts, excluding labor...dang.

Hey tig88, i need to order that double din man. You should have told me, i would have order it with you.

Also another fiberclass enclosure too for the sub amp.

Hey G35mt...this is Growler in the building next door. Yeah, the guy's are right your G is looking sweeter every time I see it. It's funny I can see both of our G's at the same time and I do a visual comparison. Thought you "coiled over" she looks lower.....and you mentioned it a few weeks ago when I saw you outside.

Did you pop that K&N in yet?

Al's and Ed in huntington beach did it for me. If you plan to do it there, ask for kenny. He did the installation on my car. The center speaker, i don't know what he did. He used some plexi glass or something. I need to asked him later on. But for sure you will lose the sunglasses holder, which is useless anyway because doesn't fit my sunglasses. Are you planning to attend the meet this saturday in Irvine?

What up man? Haven't seen you for awhile. Did you work late the other day cause i left kinda late and you still here. Never seen you here that late before [img]/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/img]. I meaure measure the height from the ground to the fender to see if the height are all the same. Well, the rear left is 1/8 higher than the other three. So i am going to bring it down more this weekend to get all same height. It looks like they are but not. Sorry, me ****. Then maybe on Monday i will go get aligment.
