agreed.
whats the closest sounding exhaust from another car? (non-infiniti or 350z)
often wondered that, nothing really sounds like it....but if you had to pick a car--whats the closest in sound?

THe VR6 jetta's (mark III anyways) have a very distinct exhaust sound. Like a weird muffled "boom". Sounds nice.

The Cooper S has a VERY distinct shrieking supercharger whine (especially if you throw on an intake, or do the HAI intake "mod")

Ferrari and Lambo and basically any sports car over $100000... meh. very few people (even on this forum) own something even remotely close to such pure sex machines.

Which brings me to: the G35 and 350Z. I've heard both, and I'm sure a 350Z owner will say the same thing: our exhausts are better.

my old 94 corolla and 86 civic sounded pretty badass at wot.

Yeah, although their (350Z) exhausts are almost exactly alike, the coupe's sexhaust (lmao) sounds better for some reason

i think its b/c our cars arelonger and for some reason makes it louder. its def beautiful, but when you start modding you can get some sexy other noises you never thought possible

It sounds even better when.................
Yea, I really enjoyed the sound of my G when it was
new. Then after listening to so many 350s and Gs
fire up I knew I had to have something diffrent. I'm
on my third exhaust system and with the mods I've
done it sounds soooo bitchen. And it doesn't sound
like anything else on the street.....damn good thing!!

Arg, don't remind me.

My Borla Exhaust completely changed the way the car sounds. I wish I could keep the stock sound but have the looks and power gain of the Borla.

btw: Ferrari exhaust is pretty good, but it's the ENGINE that sounds killer.

Quote: The only nicer sounding car is a ferrari, nothing can top that....
Run off to your nearest Porsche Dealer and ask them to let you take a test drive in any 996 or 997 with PSE. After your drive I'm certain that you will add another car to your list of cars with better sounding exhausts than the G35. BTW I do like the G35's sound, but there are others that sound better, but none in the G's price range.

Its cool, but there are lots that are cool..

If the g35 was a bit louder i woulda kept my exhaust stock most likely.
