Mod bug dead?

After my problems with the pa11-nis I got (https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-video-electronics/95574-please-help-car-torn-apart-pa11-nis-not-working-anyone-please.html) my mod bug has nearly died. I will no longer be doing certain mods (at least by my self) with this expensive car. Future things were paint brake calipers, get tvandnav2go and reverse camera). I will most likely not be doing these kinds of mods anymore. I will still do simple things like wheels, etc. Its too bad, cuz if I didnt recieve a defective unit my car would get pretty cool in the future. Now I am not going to take any chances.

Sorry, just wanted to express my feelings.

So...? I mean, if you halt all your mod plans because of a freaking defective audio device, then I guess your mod bug wasn't a big one at all. I see that you're frustrated and everything but correcting and fixing things a bit are always part of modding. If you aren't willing to do that, then I guess it would be a good idea to stay stock.

Ya but it made me realize that things can go wrong. I am still hoping that everything will go back okay.

i understand where he's coming from. i remember having to tear open my dash and having to leave it all opened up overnight because i ran into problems. i hated it while it was all going on but when i was finished with it, it was a great feeling. granted, i didn't have a defective unit and it all worked in the end.

If everything ends up good the story may change, but I will definatley take more precautions on future modding.

Leave the guy alone Gman, he's only 16! What was the point in listing your billion mods? Everyone has their own personal preference when it comes to customizing their vehicle.. I say to each his own.

I say dont let the defective unit get you down, you did the install right, it wasnt your fault. If you did the PA11-NIS, I guarantee that you can do the tvandnavtogo w/backup cam. The others are correct, you learn by doing it yourself.. thats the only way!

Well I didn't mean to come across as pompous, but seriously he doesn't have a problem yet. A lot of people on this forum would consider his mods in the air freshner and tinted window category. I think it would been more appropriate for him to say he's not going to try any more mods, but not to say that his mod bug has died. IMO he never had one. That's just my opinion though. I guess everyone has their own. They are like arseholes.

Some parts for certain people's cars are better left to the professionals...
