Does lowering you car void the brake warranty?
Does lowering you car void the brake warranty?
Hey guys, I made an appointment to go into my local dealership to get my brake pads changed on my 04 coupe (26k miles)...I'm start to worry a bit about whether or not the brakes will be covered under warranty since my car is lowered...I know that by law they must cover warranty unless the aftermarket product directly damages the warranty work in question...and I assume suspension has no direct effect on brakes or does it?...Do I have reason for concern or should I just chill out?
Thanks in advance
Thanks in advance
i'm a sales consultant at a mod friendly dealer. if the modification caused the issue then the warranty is voided. lowering a vehicle just affects the ride clearance and height. your brakes should be fine.
