^ not unless the speed limit's over 100...

i kid i kid,, naw it is easy pretty dangerous not only to u but to those around u as well. some of u may think u know how to drive really well (and im not trying to judge anybody here, so dont bomb me), but a lot of us dont know jacks*** about how to drive like a pro (myself included). and even if u did know how to drive, there are still soo many factors on the road especially at night where u have limited visibility. well, it all just comes down to this: be careful on the road, be aware of ur surroundings, and consider the safety of others

Washington and Virginia are the two states that ban radar detectors I believe. They have detector detectors.

I like to drive fast once and awhile with the proper road conditions. Theres nothing like cruising on a quiet night being the only person on the road and getting on the gas to hear the music coming from the engine and exhaust.

How can you detect a radar detector? It doesn't emitt anything.

Actually, the front straight wasn't long enough for me to reach this sort of speed before the chicane at the local track. Yeah, it was on the street. Just me and some other bikes, remote straight stretch of road. Bike is in great condition and little risk was taken.

Honestly, I just had to see if I could take the RC-51 that was running next to me. I was on my Aprilia RSVR Factory edition.

Fast is easy on a bike

I've hit about 148 or so in my G at like 3 AM on a 65 MPH highway with no cars on it as I'm sure a ton of other people on here have.

I think this guy was just being an extra-big idiot by doing it on a small parkway instead of a big highway(I'm not saying it's not dangerous to drive this fast on the highway... just saying that his choice of places to do so was extra-poor).

Don't know about the mechanism of action for the detector detectors, but I would have to conclude that emit something for the cops to know if you got something. There is a radar forum somewhere, just google it.

WHAT? The GW is a narrow, curvy, hilly ROAD with forests full of deer on both sides.

I had my G and my bike over 126MPH, but on wide, REALLY wide, deserted roads, during the day, and without any forests/hills/curves to obstruct my view of cars/deer/bears approaching.

At 126, that dude was obviously even outdriving his headlights. By the time something appeared in his headlights, he woulda hit it. Dumb.
