It's like Karate you know how to whoop peoples asses but you are happy knowing that and not doing it. And that military ID isn't going to do anything for you when you crash.
i see what your saying, however.. when i speed, its NOT because i think I'm 'badazz' or anything, its because i enjoy it. and I'm not saying that you have to speed everywhere you go, but lots of these folks are making it sound like they've never taken their G over 65 mph. those are the ones that should sell it. as far as the whole crashing thing.. i know that all too well. i got hit, head on by a truck on one of my old bikes. i still take calculated risks... who doesn't? i NEVER do anything if i don't feel 100% in control. not to say that a mechanical failure wont happen... but that's the calculated part.

But hey, at least I had to do that, I hear Rhode Islanders get their licenses from cracker jack boxes...
Also the construction of the autobahn is of much higher quality than american highways. It's around twice as thick, and doesn't have the amount potholes, cracks, and other irregularities that our highways have.

The fastest I have driven in my G is 80.
I had the experience to drive 120mph in a Ford Taurus rental from LA to Vegas. At that speed people were passing me like I was sitting still. The scary part was that the POS was getting light feeling on the steering once it passed 110mph. I thought the front was going airborne by the time I hit 120. What an unsettling feeling.

Took the g up to ~135mph once on open 4 lane highway at like 3am once, and it was the safest road you possibly could be in metro detroit. had a 98 camaro z28 and got up 145mph and good lord it was shaking so much i thought was was going to take off.
but the worst was recently a friend of mine working for gm took home new
Z06 and didnt see speedo but he said we were at 160 and i almost cried. i dont think i'll ever be going that fast ever again

I've taken my 95 Maxima SE up to 140mph once, can't hold a candle to how the G feels at high speeds though.
