I thought I had read that we get a free wheel alignment before 10k miles. My coupe went in to the dealer for a wheel alignment. It has 9k miles now.

When I went to pick up the car today, they told me I owed them $90 for the alignment. They said they've never heard of people getting free alignments ever.

Was I mistaken when I thought an alignment should be free before 10k miles?

Thanks!

never heard of that, but it shouldnt be 90 for one alignment, even from the dealer.

Mine was free. I told the guy "Hey, my car is loud as hell. Can you check the alignment and camber settings?". So, it was fine but I believe if it wasn't, it is covered before 10K miles or 1 year. I'm not 100 % sure but I'm going back again and having them check it again since I'm near 10K.

I never heard of that. How could a mfg. cover that.Someone could drive off the lot,hit a pothole, now the alignment is off,not their fault. If that is a 4wheel alignment that is right $45.00 for the front & $45.00 for the rear.

for mercedes its 12 months, 12,000miles.. give another infiniti dealer a call and see what they have to say.. cause your warranty is the same anywhere. but yes manufactures are suppose to cover alignment for an X amount of miles..

and for $90 i would be expecting custom specs..

Recent 4 wheel align - $100
I just put my summer tires back on my coupe. Then I got a 4 wheel alignment from the Infiniti dealer in Rhode Island. It was about $100, but I never questioned it.

There is a warranty on a new car alignment, not sure how many miles it is for the Infiniti though.
