TEIN H Tech Before and After Comparison

after much research i finally opted for TEIN G35 H Techs in the hopes of a conservative drop and NOT needing a camber kit. got them installed last week and am beyond stoked!

several members cast off the G35 H Techs as "not worth the money" with an advertised drop of only .6" front and .3" rear. and i had a hard time finding good side-by-side comparison photos during my decision making process, so i decided to document mine.

for those looking for a similar drop as i was, i think you'll find the result well worth it.

check out my site at myG35mods.com for several before and after pics.

Looks good, hows the ride and are there any effects from the spacers?

actually i disagree. i think it's rather noticeable.

is it slammed? no. would my wife who cares nothing about cars and still can't understand what was wrong with the original springs, completely notice? probably not.

but, the before and after results in person ARE noticeable - without a doubt to someone that paid attention.

as far as i'm concerned it was well worth the $500 and would do it again. much happier overall with the G since...feel like the look is complete now.

Some question answered....maybe!

Great comparison pic Fish, these should answer many question about the drop with our Tein H-Tech 350Z springs. Although my drop looks better because of my bodykit/Kuruma Z front bumper. Speed bumps always a concern along with driveways and highway dips. You're correct, our wives don't understand why we'd buy a new car and start taking parts off and replacing them....I hear that all the time. My answer, "because we can!"

Ha well ok... you did ask what we thought though.

How is the ride on them though? You've yet to answer that.

ride is pretty much the same...perhaps a tad stiffer and harder. can't say that ride quality has really been significantly improved or made more harsh - from springs or spacers.

Just curious, did you end up needing the camber kit, or was there enough adjustment left in the factory equipment for the alignment?

I'm looking at doing something similar with my g. Where I live, there's a lot of steep curbs pulling in and out of certain parking lots, and I don't want to be scraping the crap out of my front bumper. Plus, I'm on a more limited budget, so this is a way that I could pull off my drop withouth getting too crazy.
