Need a quick answer: swapping fuses

Can you replace a 10 fuse with say a 25 fuse?

If you don't mind risking your wiring harness.

I agree. Always go smaller and don't push the load on that system.

What fuse are you talking about?

^It was my rear taillights. I did the non-lazy thing and went out and bought the smallest box of 10 fuses that I could (~5).

The reason why I asked is because I have all other sizes of fuses hanging around! But it always seems that the 10 ones blow.

Joe - I'm glad I could have been of service

Maybe you have a short on that circuit if the same one is blowing out repeatedly? Check that **** out, you don't want your G35 to catch on fire.

If they blow again there must be a problem somewhere...

No, the fuse is not being blown repeatedly. However, mostly due to user error, the fuses that do seem to blow as I'm tweaking with my car all seem to be 10. It happened with my DSM as well!

Careful there are no standards for replacement bulbs. Oem Japanese bulbs may draw less current than copies from Mexico or China.
Past experience [18 years on Q45] shows the Sylvania long life bulbs may work for a while but oem [usually Toshiba] is better.

Cold bulbs drawn an inrush of high starting current vs operating current.
