I have not, but I think all you need to do is use a hair dryer to heat the adhesive on the letters and then use dental loss to drag under the letters to remove them. After that you may need some goo gone to remove excess adhesive.

Also put aside about 2 hours of your time at least.

i let the car in the sun for a few hours then use a thick dental floss to take them off. to clean up the extra glue you can use some alcohol

Fishing line or dental floss, Goof Off and wax. No shop is necessary, they are barely glued on.

DO NOT use a heat gun or hair dryer. It's not necessary and if you use too much heat or have it to close you'll ***** up your paint.

Dental floss them off, use goof off and then polish and wax. If the letters have been on a while you may indeed have different colors of paint. Use a good polish and try to polish the paint until the color/shine is the same. The shadow of the letters may not fully disapear if they have been on a long time.

I did mine the day I bought the car.

if you know how to use a heat gun properly you know not to apply it towards the paint directly. also, if the emblems have been on the car for a while it will take a lot more work than having a new car and the emblems come right off

If you use just as much heat as the car would get on a sunny day, the goo comes off really easily. It took about 10 minutes for me to do "Infiniti". Keep it warm when you use the goo-gone and it almost wipes off.

"IF" you know how. Who here actually has a heat gun? Yes, you can use it but just telling someone to use it is dangerous. Some kid's going to get dads heat gun, put it on high and bubble the paint on his car.

my car is 03 i did it a month ago...if its been on for a while, you'll need some wax handy...for me it was a bi*ch to get the stains of that glue removed

WD-40 will take the glue residue off, too. I prefer the "Park in the Sun" method of heating the letters, but have used the wife`s hair dryer as well.
