Both Cheryl and I are running 245/40/18's. Like another person in the thread, Kumho asx's. I think they ride fine. They communicate very well. But I think they slip too much.

Anyway, the shorter sidewall definitely accentuates the wheel gap on both cars. Cheryl is still at stock height, and I'm dropped on coupe shocks/springs. My wheel gap looks bad, but hers is horrid. In my case, the combination of black tires+black wheels+gap make my 18's look smaller than they actually are. Like someone else mentioned, 245/245/18 is closer to stock than 240/45/18. I think I might go with the 245/45's next time around.

That looks really good without a drop. What are the offsets?
I'm in the same boat, with an 06X.

Here's mine, no drop, with 245/45/18's. These are for sale since I found another set in the same size but a different style. Check in the Marketplace! I think you get the idea how well this size fills the wheel wells on the "X".

My OEM wheels are 17's:

215/55/17 yields 118.25mm sidewall = 4.66 in.
4.66+4.66+17" rim = 26.3 inch O.D. (outer diameter) total

My 19" Axis Milano wheels & tires:

245/40/19 = 98mm sidewall = 3.86 in.

3.86+3.86+19" rim = 26.7 inch O.D. total....car is technically only 0.2 inches (3/16") higher off the ground and the gap is filled by the same amount when compared to OEM size.

Here are some pics...I love the look & won't ever be dropping my car....to me, the gap is even all the way around (sides vs. the top) and I like that look. I can only fit 2 fingers between the fender & the wheel.

Where did you get the infiniti center caps from to fit your milanos?
