A couple questions since I will be purchasing Coils this weekend...

Has anyone drivin or owned both BC Coils and the the Megan Racing coils for AWD?
My research seems to be that they are practically the same but people tend to lean towards the BC Coils..?

Secondly would I be stupid to install the coils without front and rear camber arms?
Seems like they are pretty much required for even wear, no?

Thanks in advance!

Like you, I was in the same boat...for the $30 difference I went with the BC coils. Just got them in the mail yesterday along with the rear camber kit. From what Ive read both camber kits are recommended. I got the rear and plan on gettin the front at a later date. I may wait until I install tem and they settle before buying the front. So well see, but curious to see how others answer ur questions

SPC camber arms are the only ones ive heard good things about... I plan on installing them the first weekend in May since April showers suck!! I recommend giving Joe a call at JMAuto. There a vendor on here..Very fast and easy shipping.

Humm I had 20x8.5 +40 and I didnt rub, so I dont think 2mm will do much. You should roll your fenders anyways. Once you put them on you are going to want to be alittle more flush.

Alright guys, so until I can do it right I am looking for a mild drop so I dont look like I am 4-wheeling on 20's. If I went just rwd sport suspension I would drop .5" or 1"? After reading every one of these pages I understand the X is about .5" higher than a rwd sedan with regular suspension, and a rwd sedan with sport suspension is .5" lower than the regular rwd sedan? = X with sport suspension would then be about a 1" drop no? I'm also debating if I should go rwd sport springs in the rear and then either coupe or z springs up front. With so many interchangeable spring combos its hard to get it all right. This is a great thread tho.

Alright guys....I said screw it and just purchased some H-Techs and the SPC rear camber kit for my 04 diamond white X. 20's are on the way and the 245/35/20 tires are sitting in my living room. P.S....my house smells like a tire shop. Might be a lil while before I get around to installing them myself but I will try to get some pics up.

19x9.5 +2 offset 225/40/19 19x10.5 +16 255/35/19

If ur not on the floor with those sizes, U'll be sticking out like a 2-3inchs lol.
And it's tough lowering the X that low, cause crossmember, Frame hit the floor over like 1=2inches of imperfection on the road.

But, going about another half inch or so lower, and throwin on the OEM lip, almost not driveable.
Suck to roll hard
