Coupes all around now. Around 1/2" drop in front, closer to 1" drop in rear. My Z fronts will be here Monday, which should make the fender gaps equal each other. I don't like the way the front looks higher having so much gap above the tire. I'll take some pics tomorrow for a before (all coupe) shot. Then another when Z's are on for an after (z/coupe) comparo.

Will not affect your tranny just ride quality but you will handle a little better.

Tokico D-Specs? Only thing listed for Xs. $300's not bad for two. Should be problem free after installing these + springs + alignment after two weeks, yes? ActionAl (posted way back on the first page) has them and his drop looks very nice, and he said he liked em...any other opinions before I buy?
You can also do Koni rears and later if you want to send your fronts to truechoice and get those done and you can have a matching set.

Did you get those Z springs put on yet? I'd like to see the comparison pics.

Only place to order front shocks for the X is through the dealer but KYB just came out with OE replacements a little cheaper than the dealer but is special oder. Pm Rick@riversideinfiniti and see how much he will charge you.I would replace both just to be safe.

thanks for the reply.. i've been hearing a "wobbling" sound from the front left and i'm wondering if its an installation problem (since you can't actually hear blown shocks)
the ride's not too bouncy but has anyone else experienced this type of problem?

i've been having that problem for couple weeks now. i replaced the front stock shocks and upper mounts. still there. taking the car to the dealer next friday to get inspected. have a feeling it might be a control arm or somehthing in that matter.

i posted this a while ago.

FlyingLumpia, you are the X guru and I think you posted about this way way back about 15 pages ago...

Do you still recommend the Stillen sways for the rear of Xs at the least?

http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?i...odel=G35%204DR

These say "NOT AWD" but obviously people have put either the rear, front or both on their Xs. Would just the rear be fine (replacing rear springs, shocks, adding sway, replacing only springs on front)? Or have you moved on to something better for both front and back?

New Pics 4/8/09

Hey everybody! Finally got time to have my 350z fronts installed today. Looks and rides great combined with the revised coupes in the rear. Fender gap is equal now front - rear, making it all look perfectly level...although the car actually has a slight forward rake now (which I like). Very subtle.

I also debadged "Infiniti" off the rear trunk. Looks more sleek and streamlined.

The pics don't quite show the difference you see in real life, but they're close enough. This is a great combination of springs for lowered height while maintaining ground clearance and ride quality. The front feels slightly stiffer now, but I notice less body roll and less brake dive.
