WNClivin,

You keep saying the Coupe springs in the rear are revised, but I thought all the Coupe springs were the same and only Z springs were revised/unrevised.

What year springs did you use for the front and the back? Also, did you change any of your shocks/struts and how bad is the camber? The reason I'm asking all of these questions is because I have the same car and yours looks exactly how I want mine to look.

Hi Ok! My Coupes are from a 2004, and the Z's came from a 2004.5. I know the Z springs are revised, but that only increases the spring rate on the rears. I swear I remembered Eric saying my coupe springs are revised also, but now that I look back at his for sale thread and our communication I don't see any mention of it. Maybe FlyingLumpia can chime in on whether coupes got a revision??

Struts are still OEM. I was hoping we'd have a more durable replacement by now for our fronts. Might end up doing Koni rears, and send my fronts to Truechoice. Kinda stupid that KYB is only doing OEM replacements and not upgrading them to work with lowered heights.

The rear camber is just barely within specs. I'm sure that with a full passenger/trunk load they'll be out more. With the coupes in front, my left front was farther out than my right front...don't know what the reason is for that, car has never been wrecked. Now that it's lower on the Z springs I'm sure it's worse and I need to go ahead and order a camber kit.

Good luck with your setup! This is the best our G has been as far as ride height, and overall appearance. Ride quality was better on OEM X springs, but this setup is very comfortable.

You know man that's kinda what I've been thinking...that it should be a bit lower. I'm hoping they'll settle down some more since they were just put in yesterday? It's definitely lower than with the coupe fronts. I don't know, I'll take more pics in a few days after ridin on them.

its still 2 high =X

I dont know why people go cheap way and get someone elses 350z or g35 coupes OEM springs. It's going to get bouncy. Cause 350z is about 4-500 lbs lighter lol I know cause I did an endo with my car and scraped my front bumper on 350z springs.

Just get H&Rs, eibachprokit, tanabe. Something Good.

I think some people want to do a more subtle drop than those others offer. I know that's what I'm looking for. I would prefer it if a normal person looking at my car didn't even notice it had been lowered, just that it looks good. Pretty much everything I've seen for the X drops it too much for my liking. WNClivin's is definitely the look I'm going for. Of course I don't have 19's so it wouldn't look exactly the same.

How many inches do each of those drop? I'm sure it's somewhere throughout this thread, but waaaay too many pages to click through right now. I know I've seen one in here with the H&R's that looked pretty good. I would really rather not have to buy a camber kit.

People use the z/coupe springs because they give a drop and give you the best amount of time on stock struts. Not everyone can shell out the 1500 to have Konis and rebuilt. I dropped because its about summer time and I am hoping by the end of the year they have a set of coils built up for the x.

My front is still really high on my z springs, I have about a 2 finger gap in the back and 3 in the front with unrevised all around, would rather bring the front down, so I may go to h&r z fronts but would prefer to wait for the coils.
