Hi I'm new to this and just bought my 04 g35x on tuesday. I'm pretty freakin happy. My friend owns an alignment shop and told me not to drop it... but i still want to. Suggestions for lowering slightly with no ride and geometry compromise? Also any issues with rubbage or clearance for 19's and a large tire (what's the biggest meat you can get in there?)? Thanks everyone in advance for comments and suggestions.

How large of tires? I have 19's with 255/35, I have H&R springs, no camber kit, and I have room to spare!

Hey, just a warning, you might get flamed pretty hard because you obviously haven't searched yet. You're posting in a thread dedicated to lowered G35x's, so I suggest you read through it before asking about dropping your car. There's tons of information in this thread alone, and nobody's going to really help you until you've shown you're willing to put a little effort into it yourself. There are also mulitple threads dedicated to tire sizes and suspensions.

I'm glad you're happy with the new car. I love my X too. Welcome to the club!

Okay thanks Buckeye, sorry to offend anyone by my ignorance. I love the dropped look, but I'm obviously not much of a car guy. My knowledge is limited and this is the way I'm trying to gain more. Thanks for the note.
