So a few days ago I put some 05 sport sedan springs on the front of my 05X to see if I would get a half inch drop. The X springs measure 14 5/8 inches and the sport springs are 14 inches. I have been driving for 3 days and about 250km's and no drop at all. Better handling and less over steer but no drop. Guess I will try coupe springs next, which I hear will drop the front a half inch. So I don't think it is true about the extra half inch of drop on the X. Maybe rear but not front. My X springs have two yellow dots and the sport two orange.

where do you live? your springs might of not settled yet due to the weather... i have bc coils and it took 2weeks to settle in the summer time.. and settled even more after i put my wheels on.

Funny the kit number you provided is the same number as this one posted in a video done in 2010. So what does this tell you. The same kit for a rwd fits the awd. Its not a new product. Sorry to burst your bubble.

I am in Calgary. I thought only new springs need to settle. These are used and have 90000km on them. I am thinking because they are a bit stiffer they have less sag and end up being the same as the softer X springs. Front is exactly 28.5 inches before and after. If there is no change after a week I will be looking for coupe springs.

You may want to just go on dive in on some OEM 350z fronts. You'll be happy with the g35c drop for about a month. I've had both 350z then g35c and about to go back to the 350z again. I swear they ride better dispite being the same spring rate...

Yea i know it isn't new but I've asked around if there was a camber kit that would fit the X's including you "Lumpia" and no one could tell me if the RWD would fit the AWD 100%.. but now I know for sure!! just sharing the knowledge and save 1st gen X's the trouble of looking around like i did..

When you ride on 350z springs, are you on fronts only? I'm just looking at getting the front and rear wheel gap the same without lowering the back. I want to put on 19's and not look too stupid.

BC guys when you did the rear, did you end up replacing the rear lower link bolt/nut? The fsm says not reuse them, but the closest dealer is a drive from me. Would I be alright reusing them?

its all good.. you actually said, "What I have heard yes the rwd does fit the awd. I have 350evo ones which they no longer make." <--- but it wasn't 100%. i didn't want to spend $400 and not have it fit, nah mean? but yeah you had pretty good feed back on it any how... thanks again..
