Calling all "X's" with a lowered suspension!

I'm pretty sure those will fit. I'm looking to get the same width wheels, but in 20". Just make sure the tire walls match in size. Also look into wheel spacers and rolling fenders if you want a flush look.

So i got my BC Coilover's today! They are the second gen with the "progressive" look. Quick question to the guys who have installed them. The rear extenders, do i have to drill a hole or will they go throgh the child seat anchors? Someone said they will go through the child seat anchors and i would much rather go this route than drilling holes in my car. Let me know...

These are the same wheels I was going to buy. After checking out these picks, I changed my mind. Too ricer for me.

OEM spring length
I have a 2005 X and want the front fender gap to be the same as the rear. I got some sport sedan springs to see what I will end up with. I know everybody says the drop will be a half inch, but I have seen the coupe and 350Z drops and it seems everyone gets different results. I'm not into a big drop, just want the gaps evened out. Anyway I was wondering if anyone has spare OEM springs lying around, that you could post unloaded spring lengths just to compare the differences between models. I think I have seen that X springs are 14 inches and change.

So I've decided to go the BC coilover route. I plan on dropping it within a 1 finger gap. My question is, what else should I get so that these fit perfectly? Camber arms, Tie rods, Toe Bolts? I don't want to kill my tires really fast so I'd perfer some neutral camber. My tires are 245/45/19 on 19x8.5 wheels.

Definitely need adjustable front a-arms (the front has no stock camber adjustment ), rear camber and toe bolts. Probably want rear camber arms instead of camber bolts for more rear camber adjustment going that low. When I got my BC Coils I went with SPC/Eibach A-Arms and SPC/Eibach Camber Arms with Toe Bolts. I got Lifetime Alignment from Firestone, went once and they put everything except the front camber to within factory specs. They asked me to adjust my a-arms myself (I'm guessing they didn't know how to adjust the aftermarket if the stock didn't have any adjustment), which I did and took the car back the next week and I was right around 0 for camber all around. They are a little pricey compared to some others but I am very happy with this setup.

You should read through this thread and search...who cares if it's 150 pages long, its good info. Anyway, the rear springs and shocks from the 350z will bolt right in. You will have to swap the 350z front springs onto your original struts, since the X struts are different from the RWD G35 and 350z. The X struts have a U-shaped bend at the bottom to go around the front drive axles.

There needs to be a sticky for lots of these questions. We need a stick for like " Properly lowering your X" and in it have things like if your lowering on coilovers you need ALL camber arms and toe bolts if you want your car in spec. ETC.
We keep getting the same questions over and over, no offense to anyone i know the 150 pages is alot to read lol
