Calling all "X's" with a lowered suspension!
#2387
I was just about to install 350z strut & springs to my G35x, and i notice a problem after reviewing the factory manual.
The lower front strut from the X has a stud connecting to the lower control arm. The 350z struts have a "C" shape mount, just like the RWD g35 which goes directly on the lower control arm and held in by a bolt and nut like most cars.
I can't seem to find any information on whether buying a g35/350z lower strut bolt & nut will solve the problem. Can anyone shine me a light? Thanks.

Sway bars
I was thinking about lowering mine on 2007 Z springs but after reading this thread Im re considering. I drive hard (persuit driving school will do that for you.) I bought this car because I needed the most performance I could squeeze out of a four door and I havent been disappointed. Im just looking for a little more adhesion in the corners, and maybe a little quicker response into the chicanes without constantly bottoming out (OK roads are notoriously bad.) Has anybody tried the Stillen adjustable sway bars?
As far as cutting tires Im more about speed than just looks, Do any of you guys know the widest 18inch wheel and tire combo that'll fit on the X?
Wicked thread guys.

I tried to upload my pics but it gave me my pics url instead ......I just put my pics I. my garage I have aowered 05 x with Tokico shocks and struts Tein springs ugly green I'd like to paint them silver or blue. Uh rear camera and toe arms adjustable and new bushings. I only notice the stiff hop of the rear when I go over big bumps.so I try n steer clear. I also never keep more than 3/4 of a tank of gas in but don't go under a 1/4 to strain the fuel pump. It helps w not having the back ride too hard.
