Sorry for all the questions lol just looking for some help with my drop
I'm selling my H&R sport springs if you're interested. They give the G35X an even drop and not too low for daily driving. I'm from Maryland, and drove it in the snow just fine...long as its not a blizzard out.

PM me if you're interested.

From what I gather springs are all interchangeable between the coupes/sedans & 350z's

So every year i go thru this.

I take off my BC coils for the winter mainly because its just WAY WAY too low to drive in the snow. I figure i take my wheels off so its only a couple extra bolts as long as nothing is seized on there. This would be my 3rd year with the coils and bout my 30-40th time installing/removing.

It might just be me getting older and not into this anymore but the path of, removing wheels~> removing suspension~> installing the coils/wheels ~> alignment twice a year is just getting old to me. On the bright side it doesn't cost me anything because i have lifetime alignment and do my own work.

I think i'm just going to look for a spring set in the MILD drop area and just be done with it. Problem being i went thru a lot of spring and shock setups, but when i was doing that i was 100% focused on having a 0-1 finger gap and nothing else. Now looking for just a comfy lowered ride. I've been thinking of just going G coupe springs all around for something like a 1 inch drop, not too bouncy and very FUNCTIONAL from what i remember. Another spring i was looking at was the Hand R springs but that might be too low for my needs.

Maybe i'm in the mindset because i'm at the end of the road in terms of modding this car. I have all the bolt-ons i want and the once my 265/40 rear tires wears down i'll ditching the staggered setup. I just want to drive the car and enjoy it. Rather then play with settings all the time. I think i'm just getting old or bored with the car.

^^why do you 'take off' your coils every winter?? why not simply raise the car since you have lifetime alignment and do your own work?? that's why i went with coils, so i can raise in winter and lower in summer.

yea, thats what i do in the winter. i jack the rear all the way witch is really nothing and match the front. i've the had my BC coils on since 09 winter and all i gotta say they can handle the winter. as long as there not a foot of snow on the road i was fine.

I think BC makes a bigger spring for the rear now so we can get more ride height out of it. been thinking about it.

Yes they do. 255mm springs. For the amount of effort it takes to raise up the coilovers it's just faster to pull them off.

They only have an option for a 20mm taller spring.

Right now i'm trying to trade my coilovers for springs/ adjustable rear shocks + sways + cash on top. Or trade someone my shorter spring for taller spring.

If nothing bites towards the end of the summer i'll see if i wanna get that taller spring. RIGHT now at the highest rear its about 1/2 a finger gap. I got a early edition.

I feel you turtle, man I was on a date and driving in Seattle and my mind was more avoiding everything than paying attention to her. Then having to slow down everywhere was bothersome. I am thinking raising the car some and the put some fatter tires to fill the gap and to make the ride smoother somewhat.

How are all of your CV boots after lowering? I've been lowered for probably 6,000 miles and I ripped one. Was it caused by lowering or just a coincidence? If it is caused by lowering are there any solutions?
